Catholic Sansthaen Surguja Uttar Purb Parikshetra

Catholic Sansthaen Surguja Uttar Purb Parikshetra is a non-governmental organisation working on social development issues in rural areas of tribal Sarguja division of Chhattisgarh, India. Its operations cover above 2000 villages and about 40000 families.

OBJECTS-

The Objects or purpose, for which the society is established are the following, and it is declared that the several sub-clauses of this clause and all the powers mentioned in it are to be cumunicative, and in no case is the generality of one sub-clause to be narrowed or restricted by any particularity of any other sub-clause be narrowed or restricted by any particularity of expression in the same sub-clause or the application of any rule of construction “ejusdem generis” or otherwise.

• To jave perpetual succession under it’s registered name;
• To perform works of charity : spritual and corporal;
• To do all the things necessary for the education of youth, the pursuit of science, and the general diffusion of social, moral, religious and secular knowledge;
• To provide and/or administer churches, chapels, schools,hostels,hospitals dispensaries and other religious educational and charitable institutions in India.
• To make by-laws not inconsistent with law or with the Society’s charter for the proper administration of the Society and all it’s institutions;
• To the same extent as natural persons might or could do, to acquire by purchase, lease ,gift,grant,lagacy,bequest,exchange or otherwise,from any person, company, government or instituion whatsoever and to hold all or part of the movable or nmmovable properties of all description-land buildings, easements, rights of common-now or hereafter vested in, or in the possession of any person or body and used or devoted for and to any perpose of the said Society or to any charitable, educational, cultural social, moral religious or other purpose whatsoever in connection therwith and to have the names of any or all the above mentioned mutated in any court or office (Civil, criminal, revenue municipal estate etc.) to that of Society;
• To erect churches , chapels, houses, hospitals dispensaries and other charitable institutions or constructions whatsoever to further the perpose pf the Society and to maintain, alter, demolish or reconstruct the same or any portion or portions there of.
• To maintain deal with and manage the said movable and immovable properties of all descriptions of the Society.
• To inter into arrangements with any Government or Authority whethere Supreme, State, District, Munincipal or Loacal otherwise that may seem to be conducive to the objects of the society or to any of them and to obtain from any Government or Authority such rights, concessions and privileges as the Society may think desirable and to obtain carry or exercise and comply with any such arrangements, right, privieges and concessions.
• To establish, promote or assist in establishing or promoting and subscribe to or become a member of any other Society whose objects and similar to the objects of the Society.
• To administer or manage local funds of the Society directy and administer, manage or control religious institutions, establishments organisations of Society
• To borrow or rise money for corporate purposes with or without securities, as the Society, from time to time, shall think fit.
• To take such steps by personal or written appeals, public meetings otherwise as may from time to time be deemed expendient from purpose of procuring contributions to the funds of the Society or to funds in which the Society is interested in the shape of donations annual subscriptions or otherwise.
• To apply the moneys and properties of the Society generally for support and maintenance of the Society and for religious, charitable and educational purposes.Any person,company,government or institution whatsoever and to hold all or part of the movable or immovable properties of all description-land buildings,easements,right of common-now or hereafter vested in, or in the possession of any person or body and used or devoted for and to any perpose of the said Society or to any charitable,educational,cultural social, moral religious or other purpose whatsoever in connection therwith and to have the name or the names of any or all the above mentioned mulated in any court or office (Civil, criminal, revenue Municipal estate etc.) to that of the society;
• To do or cause to be done all such other lawful things as are not contrary to spirit and principales of the Cannn Law of the Catholic Church, which are incidental or conducive to attrainment of the above objects.
